I just began my second trimester. Before being pregnant I always usually slept on my back or switched from side to side..but my back was the main positon. But now I’m trying to do as said and sleep primarily on my left side. It’s painful!! Not to my stomach or abdomen…but to my legs. I even started putting a pillow between my knees, but that doesn’t help. After about 20 minutes of sleep, my legs start to ache, and I have to roll to my right side only for the same thing to happen 20 minutes later and yet again I’m rolling right back over. My DH says I’m always moving and never seem like I’m getting a good rest. At times I wake up and find myself on my back…but I really dont’ panic b/c that’s about the only time my legs won’t hurt. But when I do awake on my back I turn back over onto my side. My doc told me to never be paranoid about my sleeping patterns..as long as I feel fine…we’re BOTH fine. But I’m not! LOL! Is there something I can do to keep this from happening or is it just something I got to deal with? My doc said to take a Tylenol PM and it should help with staying asleep..I took one a couple nights ago..I slept fine..but still had leg pains from laying on my sides for too long. I just want what’s best for me and my baby…but goodness is sleeping starting to hurt
Thanks for the answers so far. I have ever book made for pregnancy *L* I’ve read up on that the side is definitely the best position..and what sleeping on the back can do… I’m just wondering what can help the pain or prevent it
* I meant every book *L*

I recently stopped taking the pill, and I was wondering how long is it gonna take for me to get pregnant?

I am due 1-4-07. I am a first time mother who is 34 years old.
If there is a first time pregnant mom out there around the same due date (and maybe around the same age), I would like to be your penpal.
I have one penpal I got off a penpal site about a year ago and we write all the time so I am a good penpal.
It would be nice to see if there is another older mom going through all the things they put you through. I swear I feel I need a walker when I leave the doctor’s office. I am reminded everytime I go to the doctor’s that I am an older mother.
I have an amino in two weeks. Scared of that.
I am also a full figured mom. I weighed 205 before getting pregnant so I have to also deal with the issues that come with being a bigger mom too.
I have a really nice doctor who is understanding and doesn’t make me feel bad or anything.
I just would like to have a friend to talk to.
All my friends have older children (5+) and I feel they don’t understand.
I typed the wrong due date. I am due 1-4-08 not 07.

I have a couple questions…
1. Did you get pregnant on the pill or nuva ring?
2. What caused this to happen?
3. Did you take it exactly as directed?
4. How soon after missing a pill or take out your nuva ring do you ovulate? Does anyone know?
I’m just curious about how people get pregnant when on these, how they are taking it and what causes you to get pregnant on it…
Thanks!

i know i’ve asked this before but i need more information. This is all there first time pregnant. One cat is a Chinchilla persion and the father of her babies is a tabby. the other cats are both lynx. and then my dogs are papalons. The chinchilla persion cat is really big i think she’s gonna have a lot of babies and it’s really funny to watch her walk because she has to waddle just to walk. The other to the lynx cats and the papalon dogs are really thin even though there pregnant. I think that the papalon dogs are gonna have more babies after this though because there still giving each other the look that was on there face from when the girl got pregnant so i’m trying to keep them seperated by now but I have 1 or 2 more days until the babies are suppose to come.

So I want to get a girl pregnant so she’s stuck with a baby, whats the best way to do this.
I don’t care if i have to make payments, my parents are rich and I’ve inherited plenty of money. I just want to make her get stuck with a baby so she has to live as a single mom.

My husband and I are trying for baby number 1 and have recently found out that my husband has a very low sperm count. My doctor recommended we try IUI and if it doesn’t work we will move on to IVF. I am wondering if any of you have had to do IUI? If you did how did it turn out for you?
