I marked this question interesting because I am wondering the same thing. I am on my 7 th month with clomid and most people say it work within the first three months.
My doctor just says to use a OPK and take temps.
I wil check back and see your answers..
Good Luck and baby dust to us both
ok haven’t gotten pregnant on clomid but here are somethings i’ve learned from doctors and reading. i’m getting ready to start clomid next cycle.
sometimes an estrogen patch will help women that are having estrogen issues ( thick cervical fluid & thin uterine lining)
1) if you are not ovulating then the dose shld be increased by 50mg next cycle. the higher the dose the more you have to be concerned about cervical mucus being too thick though.
2) clomid shld not be taken for more than 3-6 cycles b/c it thins the uterine lining. it can also start to act a contraceptive if used for too long w/o a break. this is the biggest mistake some docs make.
3) try plain robitussin from the start of your cycle through ovulation w/plenty of water. clomid thickens cervical mucus making it difficult for sperm to get to the egg.
4) low dose(baby aspiring) check with doc on this can help with blood flow which is good for the uterine lining
5) addition of dexamethasone has shown to be beneficial in women that are resistant to clomid. this seems to work in women that have and do not have pcos
6) if you are ovulating on clomid an still not getting pregnant then your doc shld be checking for cervical mucus and the thickness of your uterine lining
7) sometimes clomid works better with IUI b/c the sperm does not have to swim that far
hope this helps you and ME:)
9) and have lots of sex.
