Here are the details:

I already have 2 daughters .. a 3 year old.. and a 2 year old.
I am almost 23 years old.
I have always had cysts on my ovaries that my gyno has put me on birth control to "keep under control".
I just found out I have PCOS (Policystic Ovarian Syndrom).
After I had my youngest daughter, my periods have been very irregular so my doctor sent me in for this horomone testing.. but about 2 weeks ago (right before the testing), I went to the ER because I was having pains in my pelvic area and they did a CAT scan and found a cyst about an inch and a half on my ovary. My doctor had just put me on birth control 1 week prior to them finding the cyst to help regulate my periods.
My husband and I are TTC baby # 3.
Anyways, I went for my blood work and my levels came back really high.. I go to the doctor to discuss everything and they did a fasting insulin test and she said that came back high or abnormal (not sure how it would come back but it didn’t come back good). But I DO have PCOS.
My question is, is it possible for me to get pregnant with PCOS? I have heard that women with this have a REALLY hard time getting pregnant… most of them have to have fertility treatments. That is something I cannot afford. I am so heartbroken. My husband and I have been trying for awhile now because we wanted 3 children close in age before I start my on-campus courses in 2011 for nursing…I would actually mark the calander for when I’d ovulate when i would have my period (because I’d miss a month or 2 sometimes.. as it was very inaccurate) but I still couldn’t get pregnant. With my first child I was taking birth control for about 2 years and then I stopped taking it and about 1 month after I quit, I got pregnant. My daughters are 11 months apart so I got pregnant with my youngest when my oldest was about 2 months old so I was able to get pregnant then. I am going to continue taking my birth control .. but what are my chances of ever getting pregnant now? Could that cyst have been causing me to NOT be able to get pregnant? If I take this birth control for about 6 months and then stop, do you think I could TTC again?… I am going to talk to my doctor Tuesday about it.. I am just trying to ease my mind.. I am just upset is all …. I’d love to have more childre…. :*(

I just got my first ever BFP yesterday and am pregnant with my very first baby. I am scared to death! I am so scared I am going to do something wrong or somehow miscarry. Are these feelings normal for first timers? This may be TMI (sorry) but one big fear I have is when I go to the bathroom (#2) I am a pusher. When I push I can feel some strain on my abdomen area and I feel like I am going to push that baby right off my uterine wall. Am I crazy? Is there anything I need to really be careful in these first few weeks? I am only 3 weeks and 4 days pregnant today. Thanks!

im pregnant with triplets and i have 8 kids why am i so tried all the time… i get up drop the 4 kids off to school 3 kids off to day care and one goes to her grandma house . all i do is wake up clean the front room.go take a nap.wake up eat clean up kitchen take a nap clean kids bedroom take a nap,take a shower and go online for a bit ,pick up kids ,make dinner, give the younger ones baths ,put them to bed ,help the oldest with homework put them to bed and then go to bed my self

How can i get pregnant fast?

Yesterday I reached the 32 week point and I’ve been feeling some discomfort since early August. I’ve been having BAD back pains and at my 28 week appointment I got some exercises to do in the mornings and before bed. I’ve been spending a lot of time in bed or on the couch with the lap top and many people online suggest having someone rub hot oil or lotion on your back… is this okay? Would the hot oil harm the baby in any way?

I’m also feeling extremely tired and queasy and have been taking 2-3 hour long naps everyday… I still wake up tired. I don’t like taking any medication while pregnant and haven’t since I found out, but the nausia is sometimes as bad as it was in the first trimester. My mother and MIL have been spending a lot of time over here when my husband isn’t home helping out and so I’ve gotten enough rest and healthy food.

I’ve been also feeling some discomfort ‘down there’ for the past few days as if it’s itchy really high up there or almost as if it’s stretching (sorry for being so explicit). Is this normal?

And one more thing… I’ve been getting some mild acne on my chin and cheeks throughout the pregnancy, does this have anything to do with the pregnancy?

If anyone has any suggestions for any of these, I’d appreciate it… thanks so much!

P.S- I’m a first time mommy so this is all new to me!
Oh! Just remembered one more question I had to ask! What do you all think of birth classes? Do they help… I’d be interested if I knew they would be of assistance.

I’m 25 and I have endometriosis. I also have a retroflexed (backwards or tipped) uterus and apparently my blood type (AB+) has caused me to have a miscarriage in the past. Several specialists have advised me to get pregnant now, or I may never be able to.

I made some lifestyle changes: I’ve been taking prenatal vitamins for 2 months. My eating habits are excellent. I’ve eliminated caffeine and do not use any alcohol or drugs. I even started sleeping regularly.

I learned about ovulation and created a calendar to go along with my exact cycle.

Last month, my fiance and I did everything right. During the week leading up to ovulation, we "tried" 6 out of 7 times (Feb 14-20). I stayed laying down for 20 minutes after each time.

During the past 2 weeks, I’ve shown EVERY sign of pregnancy except a positive test result. Nausea, tired all the time, sore and swollen breasts, increased appetite, dizzyness and shortness of breath. On the day my calendar said implantation should occur, I experienced a sharp, stabbing pain in my lower abdomen for about 2 minutes and then it went away. My period is never late and it was 2 days late. But then, it came. I assumed that it means I am not pregnant. However, it only lasted for 2.5 days, which is also not normal. I’m not sure what this means or why I would have had so many of the signs. Normal PMS for me does not include all of those.

I’m confused that I’d have all the signs and have it not work, because I was very sure that I felt as though it did work. I’m also confused about why it didn’t work? I know it’s a process…. but if everything is planned out carefully and every precaution taken, what would I need to do differently next time around?

(He’s 27 and healthy, also taking multi-vitamins)
Note: I took 3 HPT’s. 2 were Clear Blue and 1 was First Response Early Result. I took them all before my period was due because of the strong symptoms I was experiencing. The most recent one was taken 1 day before my period was due. All 3 tests were negative, but I’ve read online that I should have waited 1 week after my period was due.

If I had my period (2 days late), but it was shorter than usual, does it mean anything is wrong (i.e. another miscarriage?)?

In mid december I was messing around with a friend (Bimbo 1: Carlos) he had just broken up with his lady we both were drinking and just having a good time. After having fun he seriously weirded out on me and has been avoiding me since. Nevertheless, another good friend of mine got a little testy because he really likes me and he wants me all to himself, so we hooked up and have been seeing each other since.

Now I haven’t had a period yet yesterday, Sunday, January 25, 2009 I started with very light to no bleeding. Then, I stop. The next day I do the same. Now i’m freaking out because I am praying to God that I am not pregnant. Most likely, I am. Sad part is though I know I am pregnant, I’ve been before so I know yet had miscarriage. I am with the guy of my dreams and we’re crazy about each other yet I’m pregnant by Bimbo 1. I’m in college, working, have everything going for me. What should Bimbo 2: Me, say to my current boyfriend. I’m carrying baggage from a thing that really wasn’t a thing and not only that but he’s been hurt bad before so i’m trying to be careful. I’m not the one to have an abortion but I’m mostly scared for myself, career, boyfriend, and how Bimbo 1 will react. What should I do?
No, Rhapsody I only had intercourse with Bimbo 1. My current boyfriend to believe it or not are not at all having intercourse. We’re way too busy to see each other but when we do we talk and are pretty intimate but a made it clear intimacy was going to be limit. Bimbo 1 was my last.

I’ll be showing a good bit at Halloween, so I’m going to be a nun! I’m getting one of the short, "skanky" nun outfits, since they’re tighter, and maybe carry around a pack of cigarettes (no, I don’t really smoke!), and a bottle of booze (I don’t drink either! lol) or something.

our youngest cat is pregnant for the second time this year. First time around she only had two, one which was stillborn the other that we think she sat on by mistake and killed. Now we’re a little scared she might do the same this time around, and she seems a lot fuller than last time so it’s a little worrying that she could possibly sit on more than one We’re planning on taking her to the vet next week for an ultrasound and to double check on her. Last time when she’s had the second one we took her in and questioned the vet if it was a problem that she seemed to be sitting on the kitten, he told us not to worry as new born kittens are tough..Apparently not true (

Has anyone gone through this before? While i’ve got no problem being on "Kitten Watch" overnight, its not ideal

Also, she pretty much got pregnant 5 days or so after she gave birth last time, and once this litter is out, she’s getting sprayed
Whilst i do agree that theres way too many stray cats/kittens around the world.. Ours wont be.. Our current cats are mostly inside cats and we dont really plan on letting new newborn kittens roam free too far away from the house =))
