my husband had a vasectomy about 2 years ago. we then didnt ever think we’d want children, now we think we might like to have at least one. what can we do to get pregnant? having a reversal costs so much but it may be our best option. i dont want a donor or fertility drugs. we want to have a natural conception. what are the chances that we could get pregnant with his vasectomy and no other protection? I dont know what to do! please give any advise you have on the matter. Thanks!

For the rest of you thanks for the info, but I already figured most of it to be so. Some of the info I entered was mis-read, Im not a complete idiot on the matter, trust me i’ve been doing my homework. I know that with a vasectomy no pregnacy is likely to happen, but i hear all of those people who had one and then concieved a child, so what am i supposed to think? no i havent been using any other method of protection, he just always pulls out, but lately we’ve been trying leaving it in if you know what I mean….one can only hope that i’d be that simple! anyways i do have an appointment to see my doc, i just wanted to know if there was anyone else out there who had the same issue or knew any thing about the matter who could give me their opinion….

My fiance and I are trying to get pregnant, but my period is VERY irregular. I just went eight months without one (and a year and a half before that). My doctor says that the only way for me to get a period is to get on birth control, but that kind of interferes with the making a baby part…is there anything I can do to ovulate so I might be able to get pregnant? Would taking the birth control for a week then stopping make me ovulate?

Okay, teens, they’ll have sex like once without a condom or anything, and chances are, girls gonna get pregnant.
But.. its like married people will try 6 months and cant get pregnant.
Why?
