for example, being on it for on month compared to one year. does being on it longer make it harder to get pregnant after coming off of it?

No not necessarily, all women are different. Some are fertile right away, and can get pregnant immediately after stopping within the first 1-3 months. And others, it just takes longer. I just stopped my birth control last November after 8yrs, and I’m still TTC. So everyone is different! I believe that for myself, being on it so long IS making it harder, because my hormone levels are STILL out of whack, but again that isn’t the case for everyone, my sister-in-law became pregnant the very 1st month after stopping.
I hope this helps, and best of luck if you are TTC
Not at all; I know women who were on it for upwards of 9 years and conceived within two months of quitting BC. Alternatively, I know women who were on it for only 6 months and took years to have a child.
it depends if you got the shot or the pills but it could if you been on it a while it takes a min for your body to get used to not taking it no more
