The quick answer is stop using your birth control and you should be able to get pregnant.
The long answer is, if you’re using the pill, it may take a month or two for your body’s hormones to go back to normal and for you to start ovulating again. I would stop birth control if you’re ready for a baby, and then give it a few months to see what happens. Even those not on the pill might take some time to get pregnant, so be patient if it doesn’t happen right away.
Good luck!
Stop the pill any day, enjoy the sex and it will happen.
Peace.
Let me explain how birth control works. Your body has it’s own method of creating hormones that make you ovulate (release an egg every month). The purpose of birth control pills is to give your body hormones that stop you from releasing an egg. If you stop taking the hormones in the birth control pills then your body will naturally go back to releasing eggs.
My advice would be to stop taking the pills, wait for your first normal cycle and then try that month. Typically an egg is released in the middle of your cycle (for example, 14 days after your period starts if you have a 28 day cycle) so having sex around that time will increase your chances. Every woman is different though, so see what your body does. Good luck.
