It depends. I was around 8 weeks, and my doctor said just to wait for a normal cycle. Other doctors suggest 3 months though.
They recommend that you wait 3 months. But I would wait 4, because if you get pregnant in 3 months your new baby will be born right around the time you lost the first one. Save yourself the emotional stress
My doctor told me 2 or 3 mths. Only for psychological reasons. You have to be in the right state of mind to go ahead for the next pregnancy.

I say it depends on u. But for health reason wait til ur doctor tell u your body is ready for that again. So when the doctor says it is ok then go for it. It may be after the 6wks from having a baby or early after.
I had an miscarriage and I inform my doctor that we were going to try again and he inform me that I wait until my body was ready again once it healed, then I could go for it. So I did and now I may be pregnant, which has made it a waiting period of 4mos. I just wanted to wait until my mind was ready and body. Having a baby a child that grows inside u is an wonderful experience, then to lose ur child is a devastating experience. No woman wants to go through that, but some of us does. And that is one situation in life that makes us stronger. So trying it again it a joy, because now u know what to expect and look for to make it right for u and ur child. Good luck to u!!
