how long to get pregnant after mirena removal?

ive had my mirena out for almost a week…no period just a little light bleeding…and just wondering how long it could take to get pregnant. any suggestions would be nice. or advice.

I also have Mirena and I know you can start trying right away but it more depends on your body I think. You will get pregnant when your body is ready.
I had the mirena. My doctor told me to wait for a month to start trying to allow my endometrium to build back up, because it is nonexistant while the mirena is there. I had mine out in October and we’ve been TTC since. As with any birth control method, I’ve heard stories of women who have gotten pregnant right away after stopping it and then there are stories of people who have troubles TTC after having it removed. I’ve had my mirena out for a week after two years of use. I am also wondering the same thing. My OB told me that I could start trying right away though I have read that some people are suggesting waiting 1-3 cycles before starting to try. I guess we will have to wait and see. I had bleeding two days after it was removed for three days and now nothing. Best of luck to you!
