My doctor told me to wait for a month to start trying to allow my endometrium to build back up, because it is nonexistant while the mirena is there. I had mine out in October and we've been TTC since. As with any birth control method, I've heard stories of women who have gotten pregnant right away after stopping it and then there are stories of people who have troubles TTC after having it removed. I am also wondering the same thing. My OB told me that I could start trying right away though I have read that some people are suggesting waiting 1-3 cycles before starting to try.
