honey don’t worried hope fully you get pregnant easily , i know 100% how you feeling now i had same problem for the past 3 and half years when i found out i have PCOS, i got married in jan-2005 i was trying to get pregnant but i didn’t ,every month making test and was neg, then in sep-2006 i got pregnant even i don’t know how but me and my husband was so much happy but unfortunately i had miscarried in about 6-7 weeks we was really upset and the main reason was because i was over wight and my Dr. keeps asking me to loss wight which is not easy then i ignored the pregnancy and started doing a good diet and exercises and lost about 25kg and i was metformin and diet tablet and using contraception and on nov-2008 i missed my period and i did test also i was sure that i am not pregnant because of contraception but when i so the test o.m.g i saw 2 line i was about going mad then i realised that this is a gift from god and now iam 41 weeks and waiting for my little Mr to come. hope i didn’t gave you a headache and didn’t talked too much but i liked to tell you my story and tell you before every thing you need to be patient and secondly if you are over wight try to loss wight and every thing will be ok and all the best and good luck.
The answer to that depends a lot on whether you are overweight or of normal weight. If you are overweight, losing 5-10% of your body weight will reduce insulin resistance and can often cause spontaneous ovulation every month, resulting in regular cycles.
However, if you are slim, then often the PCOS is due to an imbalance in LH levels first and foremost, and often insulin resistance as well.
A low G.I diet and half hour exercise (even just walking) can help to normalise hormone levels.
Failing this, metformin and clomid usually do the trick, especially when combines.
Hope this helps.
